Describe yourself

Prior to attending Kellogg, I spent several years launching and running products and businesses within the healthcare technology space. My coursework and activities at Kellogg coupled with my professional experience allowed me to develop the following transferable set of strengths and skills:

Creative Problem Solving: As COO of B-Line Medical, I facilitated collaborative problem solving between internal and external parties including our engineering department, our customers and our vendors. When suppliers could not meet our demands, I found other ways to source materials. When our engineering team hit a roadblock, I involved customers in the development process, reaching out to their IT departments and end users to find creative solutions.

Leadership Ability: At B-Line, I managed 30 people within our project management, implementation and customer support teams. During my tenure, we maintained a 100% customer renewal rate.

Relationship Management and Communication Skills: As a manager of product and business development for CAE, I spent two years networking with leading academics and physicians around the world. I regularly represented the company at industry trade shows and actively lobbied on Capitol Hill.

I began my career in the Financial Services space, working as an investment-banking analyst for UBS Warburg in New York City and as an equity research associate for JP Morgan in the IT services space. I have a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
