My Maven

Describe of the value proposition
We go through life making many decisions. We don't make those decisions alone. We seek the advice of our friends and family. There are many ways to get advice from strangers on the web but we don't trust and engage with that advice in the way

- Quora meets Pinterest for a closed network of friends and family, grouped like they are on Google Plus
- simple way for people to gather advice and feedback from friends e.g. what shoes to buy, what job to take, what movie to watch on a date, where should we dine for my birthday
- friends are grouped by trust and expertise to help you quickly send a message to groups
- questions about decisions are categorized: clothes, movies, life, education, money, etc.
- feedback categorized, summarized and displayed simply, using the best practices from discussion platforms (e.g. Disqus) and open innovation platforms (openIdeo)
- interaction stored and can be revisited, allowing you to inform friends of your decision, thanking them, asking follow up questions
- friends earn badges for answering more questions and providing the "right" advice that you end up taking.
